FAQ
Why is the number of participants different between the KPI and the Engagement Funnel?
Why is the number of participants different between the KPI and the Engagement Funnel?
These two indicators measure different things:
β’ Participants (KPI): the number of unique employees who actually participated during the selected period.
β’ Engagement Funnel: unique employees who viewed the initiative, registered for it, or participated during the selected period.
The difference between the two may come from participation records added manually (i.e., without a prior registration) or registrations that were created outside of the reporting period.
Why does the "Hours Completed" KPI differ from the total shown in the Top Action Areas or Top Beneficiaries?
Why does the "Hours Completed" KPI differ from the total shown in the Top Action Areas or Top Beneficiaries?
The totals may differ because the same hour can be counted more than once.
When an initiative is associated with multiple action areas or multiple beneficiaries, its hours appear in each corresponding category.
However, the "Hours Completed" KPI counts each hour only once.
How is the number of participants calculated based on participation statuses?
How is the number of participants calculated based on participation statuses?
After an initiative ends, each registration is moved to the βPending confirmationβ status.
It is counted as a participation only once it has been confirmed by one of the following:
β’ The employee: by validating their participation through the confirmation window displayed at login, or via the e-mail sent once the initiative date has passed.
β’ The initiative coordinator: whether from the nonprofit or the company.
β’ The Komeet team: when a participation is manually validated by a Komeet administrator.
The way participants are calculated can be adjusted in the βParticipantsβ section.
How can I change the participant calculation method?
How can I change the participant calculation method?
From the settings, you can manage how participants are calculated, depending on whether you want to include all participations (with the statuses Awaiting confirmation and Participated) or only participations confirmed by the volunteer or the coordinator (status Participated only).
