Contact volunteers

Learn how to communicate with volunteers at different stages of their registration.

🎯 Purpose of the Article

Understand how mission coordinators can message volunteers individually or in bulk to ease communication during the registration process.

✅ Prerequisites

  • You must be the coordinator of the initiative

  • Bulk messaging is only possible for corporate initiatives

🧭 How does it work?

✉️ Contact a volunteer individually

  1. Go to the volunteer’s registration (via the Volunteers tab or the initiative page)

  2. Click the Contact button

  3. In the pop-up window:

    • 🔙 View the conversation history

    • ✏️ Write and send a personal message (visible only to the volunteer and the coordinator)

  4. Validate to send message

👉 You'll receive a notification if the volunteer replies.

⚠️ You can’t send a message if:

  • The volunteer hasn't logged in for over a month

  • The registration is older than one month

📢 Send a group message

  1. Go to Initiatives > click Manage registrations next to the mission

  2. Click Send a group message

  3. Select the statuses of volunteers you want to contact (e.g. Pending, Participated…)

  4. Write your message and click Send

💡 Good to know

  • Bulk messages are only available for company-exclusive missions

  • Only selected volunteers will receive the message

  • All message history is accessible in your company dashboard
