Who can benefit from Komeet?

Komeet works with several types of nonprofit entities:

  • Non profits

We support 1901 law associations in France (and associations under local law in Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, and Moselle).

Some are recognized as of general interest and may issue tax receipts for donations if they meet these 3 conditions:

  • Nonprofit purpose

  • Social mission and selfless management

  • No benefit to a closed circle of individuals

👉 These associations can apply for a tax ruling to confirm their status.
Associations recognized as being of public utility automatically meet these conditions.

  • Public Utility Foundations

These are nonprofit foundations created through an irrevocable donation of assets or funds by individuals or organizations, with the aim of serving a public-interest mission.

  • Endowment Funds

These are nonprofit entities that support or carry out public-interest initiatives, often by funding other nonprofits.
