Discover the different roles available on Komeet and their definitions.

🎯 Purpose of this article

This article details the different user roles available on the Komeet platform and their respective permissions. It is intended for administrators who want to understand and effectively configure their teams' access rights.

✅ Prerequisites

If company settings allow it, company administrators with the IT_ENTREPRISE role are authorized to add, modify, or remove user roles on the platform.

Administrator

Can view all data on participation and users and can request new nonprofit partnerships.

ROLE_ADMIN_ENTREPRISE

Administrator (read-only)

Can only view reporting data and cannot perform any other actions.

ROLE_ADMIN_ENTREPRISE_READ_ONLY

IT Administrator

Can manage user accounts and platform settings.

ROLE_IT_ENTREPRISE

Ambassador

Acts as a representative of the solidarity program to colleagues. This is an independent status on the platform, operating within a given scope (entity, department, region). Can be assigned by an administrator or requested.

ROLE_AMBASSADOR

Staff member

Can browse the list of initiatives published by partner associations and register.

ROLE_USER_ENTREPRISE

Community Manager

Can post in the news feed of the communities their company belongs to.

ROLE_COMMUNITY_MANAGER_ENTREPRISE

Call for Projects Coordinator

Can create and manage calls for projects.

ROLE_CFP_COORDINATOR_ENTREPRISE

Initiative Coordinator

Can create and manage company initiatives, as well as partner initiatives if authorized, and track initiative registrations.

ROLE_COORDINATOR_ENTREPRISE

Voting Campaign Coordinator

Can create and manage voting campaigns for their entity and lower-level entities. Does not have access to any other admin tab.

ROLE_VOTE_CAMPAIGN_COORDINATOR_ENTREPRISE

External account request manager

Can access and manage requests to create accounts for external collaborators not included in the whitelist.

ROLE_MANAGE_EXTERNAL_ACCOUNT_REQUEST_ENTREPRISE

Registration manager

Access to the Volunteer tab and My Actions ; can manage registrations on content. Can perform all actions of an admin related to registrations.

ROLE_ADMIN_REGISTRATION_ENTREPRISE

Tax officer

Can access data related to tax exemption (participations during work hours and the ability for NGOs to issue tax receipts).

ROLE_TAX_EXEMPTION_ENTREPRISE

💡 Good to know

The roles assigned to users are never overwritten by user account imports, whether via SSO or API.

📝 View and edit a user's role

  • From the Administration screen, click on the Company tab.

  • Click on Team management.

  • On the right side of the screen, click on View or Edit.

  • If your company settings allow, you can also click the button to Activate/deactivate a user account.

The Edit button only appears if you have the IT administrator role.
