Create and manage an action collection

How to create a collection of actions (manual or automatic) and tailor it to your needs.

🎯 Purpose of this article

This article explains how to create and manage a collection of actions on Komeet, distinguishing between automatic and manual collections. It is intended for administrators and coordinators responsible for engagement campaigns.

🧭 Steps to create a collection

⚙️ Create an automatic collection

  1. In the My actions menu, click on Collection then + Create a collection.

  2. Select the languages in which you want to create the collection.
    ℹ️ Actions in the collection will not be automatically translated.

  3. Carefully fill in each field of the form.
    👉 If no color is chosen, your platform's default colors will be applied.

  4. For videos, only YouTube, Vimeo, or Streamlike links can be integrated.

  5. Select the automatic mode for action selection.

  6. Use the combined filters (location, type of engagement, partner, etc.) to define your criteria.
    ℹ️ The number of matching actions is displayed in real time.

  7. Configure advanced options:

    1. Display search filters on the employee side

    2. Separate challenges and initiatives when displayed

    3. Show donation tracking indicators if the collection includes donation campaigns

  8. Save as draft or open. A pop-up will offer to feature this collection on the homepage to promote it to your employees if status is set to open.
    👉 You can skip this step for later.

ℹ️ To remove an action from an automatic collection, you must unpublish that action.

✍️ Create a manual collection

  1. In the My actions menu, click on Collection then + Create a collection.

  2. Select the languages.
    ℹ️ Actions will not be automatically translated.

  3. Fill in the fields.

  4. Select manual mode.

  5. Configure advanced options:

    1. Display search filters on the employee side

    2. Separate challenges and initiatives when displayed

    3. Show donation tracking indicators if the collection includes donation campaigns

  6. Save as draft or open. A pop-up will offer to feature this collection on the homepage to promote it to your employees if status is set to open.
    👉 You can skip this step for later.

  7. Add actions to the collection:

    1. From My actions, click on ··· See more in front of an action.

    2. Select Add to a collection, then choose the desired collection.

    3. Confirm.

8. Return to edit mode to check the List of actions, categorized by challenges, initiatives, and donations.

👉 Visible actions appear in full opacity, hidden actions are grayed out.
👉 Hover over a hidden action to understand why it is invisible (closed, pending approval, out of theme).

⚠️ WARNING: Switching from a manual to an automatic collection deletes all actions already added.

🧭 Manage the collection

  • Remove an action from a manual collection: in edit mode, click on ❌ in front of the action to remove it.

  • Change display order: select the desired order in the Order option.

🤨 Understanding collection statuses

  • Draft: visible only to administrators before launch.

  • Open: visible to employees and administrators. To appear on the homepage, the collection must be featured.

  • Archived: collection is completed, automatically removed from the homepage.

ℹ️ The status can be modified in the edit screen at the bottom of the page.

ℹ️ A well-managed collection allows you to offer employees relevant and personalized engagement journeys while making your management easier.
