User Synchronization Setup

🎯 Purpose of this Article

Set up automatic synchronization of users between your company directory (Azure AD, Google Workspace, Okta) and the Komeet platform through a simple and quick configuration. This allows you to:

  • Automatically create accounts for new joiners

  • Automatically deactivate accounts when someone leaves

  • Ensure a smooth and duplicate-free access management process

✅ Prerequisites

  • Access to your user directory system (Azure AD, Google Workspace, or Okta)

  • Admin rights on the Komeet platform

  • User groups to sync must be created in advance in your HR tool

  • Only one configuration is allowed per domain name

  • SCIM or Google Sync options must be enabled by the Komeet team

🔹 Sync with Google Workspace

  1. Authorize Komeet to access your Google account
    Go to: Company space > Administration > Company > User Synchronization > Sync with Google

  2. Select the user groups to sync
    Choose one or more groups (e.g., All employees, CSR team, etc.) then click Confirm

  3. Launch and verify the synchronization

🔹 Sync via SCIM (Azure AD, Okta…)

  1. Activate SCIM synchronization
    Go to: Company space > Administration > Company > User Synchronization > Sync with SCIM
    A SCIM URL and a secret key will be provided

  2. Configure provisioning in Azure AD / Okta
    Use the Komeet SCIM app if available in the Azure/Okta app catalog.
    Otherwise, create a custom SCIM app. Enter the SCIM URL and secret key to begin provisioning.

Can I sync multiple groups?

What if I want to stop syncing users ?

You can disable synchronization at any time from the settings section.

Errors during synchronization?

Make sure users belong to the selected groups and that their email addresses are valid. If needed, contact your IT team or our support team.
